About Michèle Dennison & MDMD

MD Management development was founded in 2004 by Michèle Dennison.

Michèle is an HR and management development professional with a track record of adding value through others. She is an experienced consultant, senior manager and HR business partner and has designed and delivered many successful people management and development projects.

Michèle draws on experience from the private, public and third sectors, plus UK and international senior HR management expertise. She spent six years as International HR Manager at Oxfam where she traveled extensively and delivered a number of global people management and change projects. Combining both a strategic and operational background Michèle has experienced first-hand many of the challenges that managers grapple with on a day to day basis.

Michèle is an experienced HR professional and facilitator and has written various publications and research pieces on a range of people management issues including reward management, recruitment and retention, career transition, performance management, distance management, remotivating teams after major change and a trainer's handbook. Her leadership and management development work features as a case study in a CIPD text book and accompanying video for those studying to join the HR profession.

Michèle is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She is also an accredited MBTI and Belbin practitioner and qualified workplace mediator. Her approach is inclusive and participative, and she draws on a variety of methods and styles to deliver tailored, timely and effective people management and development interventions.
